Become the water

“Don’t drink at the water’s edge, throw yourself in. Become the water. Only then will your thirst be quenched.” ~Jeanette Berson

It’s so tempting to stay at the water’s edge and sip from what life has to offer us, but in doing so, we keep ourselves thirsty in an attempt to stay “safe.”

How much safer it is to throw ourselves into the fullness life has to offer, to drink deeply of life’s bounty, to live life to its fullest!

Only then do we quench our thirst for life, not by consuming enough, but becoming fully alive.

Where have you been holding yourself back? What would it take to throw yourself in and become water today?
