“Truth is eternal. Our knowledge of it is changeable. It is disastrous when you confuse the two.” ~Madeleine L’Engle
I’ve always been a continual seeker after Truth, and it is so tempting to think I’ve grasped the whole of it every time I get a new a new glimpse.
But in actuality my view and my perspective will always be too small to fully know all Truth. All glimpses I get of the Truth will always be just that—a small glimpse that is always open to change and reinterpretation as I learn more.
Ironically, learning to hold my knowledge of the truth as limited and changeable has deepened my relationship with Truth rather than restricting it by teaching me to trust the mystery in deeper ways.
What is your relationship with Truth? How do you keep your knowledge of Truth open to change?
