“Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn’t stop to enjoy it.” ~William Feather
It’s so easy to spend our lives rushing madly from one thing to the next in the busy attempt to find happiness. We’re always sure that it is to be found on the other side of the next big achievement, success, or relationship.
All too often, however, we are so busy rushing toward that goal line that we miss the happiness that surrounds us every day in the little things in life … a beautiful flower, a fragrant cup of good coffee, a good book, a delicious meal, the warm hug of a loved one.
What if we were to spend more time stopping to enjoy the happiness that’s sprinkled all along the way? I suspect most of us would find more happiness than we ever dreamed of is already present.
