“To dare is to lose one’s footing momentarily. Not to dare is to lose oneself.” ~Soren Kierkegaard
Daring feels scary and risky.
And it is. It brings with it a momentary loss of comforting stability.
But our retreat into the supposed safety of no daring is even riskier because what we lose is the chance to blossom into the fullness of what we can become.
In so doing, we feel safer in the moment, but we lose ourselves.
What are you daring today?
